Loyal Guard Kennels

Health and Athleticism at its best

I spent a few days at Butch Cappel’s place this week in August 2007, I was getting some formal training on how to be a decoy, here are a few photos. The first dog is his Great Dane, Betty Lou a young female I think this was her first time being worked.
Below is Butch’s German Shepard Cochise, the photos are not in order but notice how this dog will transfer from one bite to another.
Below is my dog DragonSlayer’s Macho being worked by both Butch Cappel and Maryanne (one of Butch’s apprentices) of Gutz Ab's if you want a great American Bulldog that can really do it all check out Maryanne’s sight.
Below is “Pistol” a very tough Czech, German Shepard being trained by Butch, the decoy is Maryanne of Gutz AB’s
Below is me and Pistol. I REALLY PISSED HIM OFF before this send and he made me pay for it. After he hit my arm he went back through between my legs effectively tripping me and taking me down. WHAT A DOG!!!
Below is one of Maryanne’s AB’s Mischief, she is very young and a very good AB. Do not forget to check out her website at http://www.gutzabdogs.com/
Below is Newman, Mischief’s father and also belonging to Gutz Ab’s

Here are a few photos of the last day I spent at Butch Cappel’s last week. Below is Apok a Presa I enjoyed working. He was a very defensive dog so it was interesting working him. Much thanks to Butch for the learning experience.

Here are a couple of photos of my boy Macho. In the second photo Macho is in a down stay while both the decoys who were working him are on the field and one is even giving a lecture. Good Macho. LOL
Here is Maryanne’s F/m AB Mischief I really liked this girl she had nice balanced drives.
Below is Moose Mischief’s littermate brother. I wish I would have gotten more pictures of this guy. Very nice natural working ability, very civil and just a great dog.
Below is Newman another of Maryanne’s dogs.
Below Newman was digging in to find my arm in the suit, he found it and raised some really nice bumps for a few days, Great job Newman.
Below he actually missed my bare arm by a carefully calculated mere inch or two. I wanted to really test his civil and see if he would bite for real. Believe me he would have.
Did the same thing with the leg below, he is a great dog.
