Canine Boot Camp
Here at Loyal Guard Kennels there is very little we enjoy more then working dogs. We have been working and conditioning our dogs to very high standards for years now and we have decided to offer these services to the public. We are opening a 12 week boot camp that will include all of the following.
High level of weight pull and cardiovascular conditioning.
Basic on leash obedience commands and Personal Protection Training.
An extremely well balanced diet and supplement program inspired by what top level bodybuilders consume.
At the end of the 12 week period you will have a high quality professional style photo shoot done with your dog to show off all of it’s new hard earned muscle. This photo shoot alone is worth the cost for many breeders. I am amazed at how many websites I go to and see that people do not understand how to properly photograph a dog as well as what type of lighting is appropriate. Many people buy a bulldog because they desire a heavily muscled dog but later realize they do not have the time to work their dog, we can help. You will also receive videos of your dog working in all the venues you have chosen (OB, PP, WP) and a personalized video of your dog showing the commands and how to control your dogs.
If you so choose we will also evaluate your dog at the end of the 12 weeks to see if it has what it takes to earn a weight pull title and even travel and title the dog for you at additional costs. We can train your dog for whatever additional time it takes to earn a Weight Pull title.
I know some will be thinking $4000 WOW that is expensive but consider this, while most trainers will charge you $800 to $1500 to train your dog in basic obedience they will be sitting in a kennel over 23 hours a day getting fat and being fed cheap kennel food. Here at the Loyal Guard boot camp they will be getting conditioning worked into their obedience routines as well as very good extremely high quality nutrition and supplementation. The dog you get back from us will be a lean muscular and trained dog.
Your dog’s obedience will consist of; the following but not limited to...
Sit (Sit-Stay)
Down (Down Stay)
Heel
Come
The Alert command (Your dog will put up a threat display by barking and/or growling upon command.)
Defense of handler from front, back and angled approach.
To out (Come off the bite and guard or return to owner)
Also please understand that if you choose to have your dog undergo the Protection training you will be required to pick up your dog in person and spend at least 12 hours at our facility learning how to handle and control your dog. Here at the Loyal Guard boot camp we believe in differing levels of force for different circumstances. This has been inspired by my years in Law Enforcement and considering the legal ramifications of excessive use of force. Our use of force continuum consists of the following;
Force level # 1) Canine presence the simple presence of an obviously trained and muscular dog (which you will have after our basic boot camp) is more then enough to stop most human predators/bad guys.
Force level #2) The Alert command (Your dog will put up a threat display by barking and/or growling upon command.)
Force level #3) Defense of handler from front, back and angled approach.
During the 12 hours plus you spend at our camp you will be trained on how and when to use your dog for protection. THIS IS VITALY IMPORTANT AND WHY WE INSIST ON YOU COMING TO OUR FACILITY TO BE TRAINED TO HANDLE YOUR DOG.
Johnny is a certified K-9 Pro-Sports decoy and has spent many hours learning protection training from the world famous dog trainer Butch Cappel the founder of K-9 Professional Protection Sports as well as a few other less famous but still knowledgeable trainers and Mary is a certified Obedience Instructor. We are also in partnership with Butch Cappel in this endeavor, therefore we will be working back and forth with Butch to ensure that the best dogs are trained and conditioned, here at the Loyal Guard Bootcamp located in South Louisiana and the K-9 Pro-Sports facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Half of total payment is due prior to us receiving your dog and all shipping costs are up to you the owner. The other half is due when you pick up your dog. If at any future time you feel you and your dog need remedial training this will be done at no extra cost as long as you come down to our facility according to our schedule. We are available at an extra cost to come proof and/or work your dog at your home and/or business for travel expenses and additional training costs based on an as needed individual basis. At that time we can also offer other security recomendations based on my years of experience in Law Enforcement and Security and Butch Cappel's Years of experience in the Security and Guard dog business. Between the two of us we have over 20 years keeping people safe from the bad elements of North American Society. Also due to my experience as a Law-Enforcement officer my security recomendations have a secondary effect, recomending things that just in case the suspect attempted to invade your home/business the police may have the evidence they need to catch him before he continues to hurt others. We believe that a dog should be part of a persons security defenses and not all of your defenses. Read the last paragraph on this page.
We only accept one outside dog at a time so if you are interested you can e-mail Johnny and Mary at rarebulldogge186@msn.com to make reservations.
If you live in the Dallas Ft. Worth area you can also contact Butch Cappel @ K9PS@att.net
Their was a recent case where a woman was the victim of a home invasion and the suspected was attempting to rape her. The woman's dog a pitbull came into the room, bit the suspect and chased him off. The police were later able to locate the suspect because of blood they collected from the dog's mouth. Without her dog the woman would probably have been raped and the suspect may never have been caught.
