Loyal Guard Kennels

Hello welcome to our Bandog page. First I want to give credit to those who have produced our foundation stock. Lee @ Chimera Kennels and Mike at DragonSlayer Bulldogs. The original goal of my program was to base my bandogs off of DragonSlayer's Macho and Chimera's Preacher-Man. However, after much training, working and thought Preacher-Man and his siblings will be more of a very important outcross to my program and instead Caesar and Macho will be the cornerstones of my bandog program. This should give me consistent males over 120# full of drive and health.

At this point I have some very nice up and coming bandogs, I have LGK'S Woolly Mammoth which is a male I bred out of Macho and Thin-Ice, Thin-Ice is a Preacher Man full sister. I have a Macho and Heartbreaker son named LGK's Raging Prophet, that is phenomenal at a young age. I also own a Caesar daughter named Raven, who is a nice brood bitch for me. I have a nice Caesar Grandson out of Preacher and Raven named Deacon as well.

Some of the foundation components of my bandog program are Macho who is comprised of mostly large working bulldog and some english mastiff. I have Caesar a very nice English Mastiff, I am using alot of Whopper pitt in my bandog program.  

As for female pits I have 3 nice Whopper bred pit females,  Bate's Heart Breaker.  Bate's Lady and  Ms. Thunderstorm AKA Thunder. There is also a super nice Game pit named Snaps who is unbelievable drivey and muscled up that is in the pedigree of a couple of my dogs.. 

About our Bandog program.

We are using alot of large working style bulldog blood similar to Macho, pittbull blood and a limited amount of mastiff in our program. The bulldog and pit blood bring alot of prey and fight drey, as well as muscle and power to the table and the Mastiff brings defense and size.

Everything we breed is hip X-rayed and tested in Personal Protection before we breed them. We are very selective in what we breed. All dogs must be capable of living in a family environment as family pets as well. All of our Bandogs are tested in both Personal Protection work as well as weight pull so we can really expose their strong points and weeknesses. I do not know of any other bandog kennel going to the extremes we do to test our breeding stock.

Of course Bandogs are bred for the purpose of doing protection work and ours are bred for the specific purpose of being a "Companion Guardian" or "Pet Protector", that is, we want our dogs to be able to live with a family or to be able to be a true security or guard dog. We fully expect the Swinford to become the top Bandog breed in the future and therefore have joined forces with Lee at Chimera Kennels.
